Εξερευνώντας ένα κρυφό σχολειό του 1551 στα Φραστανά - Κάτω Μερόπη

         Κάπου στο Πωγώνι Ιωαννίνων, σε υψόμετρο 700 μέτρων, κρυμμένο καλά από κακόβουλα χέρια πια και όχι

   από τους Οθωμανούς κατακτητές, βρίσκεται το συγκεκριμένο Κρυφό Σχολειό.

        Οι λιγοστοί εναπομείναντες κάτοικοι με δικά τους έξοδα και προσωπική εργασία προσπαθούν να διατηρήσουν

    όρθιο και ασφαλές το πολύτιμο για αυτούς και την ιστορία τους μνημείο. Κάποιοι υπερήλικες πια θυμούνται την

   αίθουσα όπου λειτουργούσε το Κρυφό Σχολειό με τα έδρανα στην θέση τους, ώσπου κάποιοι βέβηλοι πριν από

   περίπου 20 χρόνια να τα βανδαλίσουν μαζί με κάποιες εικόνες. Μάλιστα προσπάθησαν να αφαιρέσουν ακόμα και

    τις Άγιες τοιχογραφίες.
