Στο πρόγραμμα "Σχολεία Πρέσβεις του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου" συμμετέχει το Λύκειο Δολιανών

Στο πρόγραμμα "Σχολεία Πρέσβεις του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου" συμμετέχει το Λύκειο Δολιανών

Μία πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα συνέντευξη για τη σχέση της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης με τους θεσμούς του Ευρωκοινοβουλίου παραχώρησε ο Δήμαρχος Πωγωνίου κ. Κωνσταντίνος Καψάλης στους μαθητές του Λυκείου Δολιανών που συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα «Σχολεία Πρέσβεις του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου».

Αντιπροσωπεία των μαθητών, συνοδευόμενη από τη Διευθύντρια του σχολείου κ. Καρβούνη Γεωργία και την υπεύθυνη καθηγήτρια κ. Τάτση Σωσσάνα, επισκέφθηκαν το πρωί το Δήμαρχο με μία μεγάλη ατζέντα ερωτήσεων για την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και το ρόλο των Δήμων.  Το «δημοσιογραφικό δαιμόνιο» των μαθητών επεκτάθηκε στη συνέχεια και σε μία σειρά άλλων θεμάτων που αφορούν τα σχολεία αλλά και το Δήμο Πωγωνίου γενικότερα.

 Ο κ. Καψάλης συνεχάρη τους μαθητές και εκπαιδευτικούς τόσο για τη συμμετοχή τους στο συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα όσο και για τις καίριες ερωτήσεις, δηλώνοντας ότι ο Δήμος Πωγωνίου είναι στο πλευρό τους. «Μέσα από το ευρωπαϊκό αυτό πρόγραμμα σας δίνεται μία εξαιρετική ευκαιρία που αξίζει να αξιοποιήσετε στο έπακρο. Η γνώση γύρω από τη λειτουργία και το ρόλο των Οργάνων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης μπορεί να σας φανεί χρήσιμη σε πολλά επίπεδα. Σας συγχαίρουμε για τη συμμετοχή σας και θα είμαστε αρωγοί σε κάθε σας βήμα» τόνισε ο κ. Καψάλης.

Στόχος του προγράμματος «Σχολεία Πρέσβεις του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου» είναι η προβολή των αξιών του κοινοβουλευτισμού και της πολιτικής δημοκρατίας στην Ευρώπη, η βασική εκμάθηση θεμάτων που αφορούν στη δομή, στη λειτουργία και στο ρόλο των Οργάνων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, ιδιαίτερα δε του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου, καθώς και η κατανόηση του πολιτικού και νομοθετικού πλαισίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και των δικαιωμάτων των Ευρωπαίων πολιτών.
